Hypercubes, also known as Tesseracts, are the 4-dimensional analogue of cubes, expressed in 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time. While we have known about these geometric oddities since the 19th century, we still hold a certain fascination for them as they force us to consider a universe with an additional spatial dimension to our own, an absurd notion on the face of it.
